STORMSIMPLE SMS Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions govern the STORMSIMPLE Device Alerts text messaging program operated by STORMSIMPLE™ (Storm Simple LLC), 800 5th Ave, 101-251, Seattle, WA 98104, US.

1. Program description

STORMSIMPLE Device Alerts is an alert and notification program. When you enroll a mobile number, we send automated text messages that include real-time alerts generated by the STORMSIMPLE monitoring device you purchased from us (for example, a rain, flow or overflow event detected at your site), along with related order, shipping, delivery and account notifications. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.

2. How to opt in

You may enroll only by submitting the sign-up form at stormsimple.com/pages/sms-opt-in. To enroll you must enter your own mobile number and check the consent box, which is unchecked by default. Consent is never a condition of purchasing any product or service from us. By checking the box and submitting the form you agree to receive automated text messages from STORMSIMPLE at the mobile number you provided and you confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of that number.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on the activity your device reports and the status of your orders. You may receive no messages in a quiet period and several messages during a storm or event.

4. Cost

STORMSIMPLE does not charge for these messages. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.

5. How to opt out

You may cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you reply STOP we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and we will not send you further texts through this program. You may also email support@stormsimple.com to be removed.

7. Supported carriers and delivery

Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. STORMSIMPLE Device Alerts should not be relied upon as your only means of monitoring a site or as an emergency notification service.

8. Changes to your number

If you change or deactivate the mobile number you enrolled, you agree to notify us at support@stormsimple.com so we can update or remove your enrollment.

9. Privacy and no sharing of mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. We use your mobile number and consent record only to operate the STORMSIMPLE Device Alerts program described above, and we disclose it only to the messaging service providers that transmit the messages on our behalf, solely for that purpose. 10. Changes to these terms

We may update these SMS Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
